Clinical description: This
58 year old female presents to your office for comprehensive care. She has been having pain in her legs, back and jaws. She has been
to 2 other dentists who were unable to stop the pain. You noticed when the patient entered the room that she had bowed legs. Laboratory blood
values reveal: alkaline phosphatase elevated calcium within normal limits phosphorus within normal limit. The skull radiograph is from a
different patient with the same condition. |
